– Household and personal effects are not subject to duties and taxes in the US, however there are some exceptions.
– For items that are less than 12 months old, you will need to produce the receipt for them as these are subject to duties and taxes
– You will need to be in the USA upon arrival of your shipping container at the port.
– Food, including but not limited to; dairy produce, beverages, tinned fruit and vegetables (it is advisable to take no food with you to the USA)
